COVID- 19 Updates

 

As part of our efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are only keeping certain clinic locations open.  Our Main Center will continue to be open for outpatient psychiatry and psychotherapy services, and our Assessment Department will remain open 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-wweek.  Our Citrus Med Clinic will remain open to provide adult primary care services.  Our Maternal and Child Health Center will remain open to provide pediatric services.  Our PalmMed Women’s Health Center will remain open to provide OB/GYN services.


Como parte de nuestros esfuerzos para prevenir la propagación de COVID-19, vamos a mantener solo ciertas clínicas abiertas.  Actualmente el centro principal permanece abierto para servicios de psiquiatría y psicoterapia, y nuestro Departamento de Evaluación continúa abierto las 24 horas al día, los 7 días de la semana.  Nuestra clínica Citrus Med permanece abierto para servicios de medicina general para adultos.  Nuestro centro de salud materno infantil “Maternal and Child Health Center”  permanece abierto para servicios de pediatría.  Y nuestro centro de salud de la mujer “Palm Med” permanece abierto para servicios de obstetricia y ginecología. New Location in Partnership with FIU Embrace Program

Citrus Health Network’s newest location opened on January 13, 2020 in collaboration with the Florida International University Embrace Program. 

The Medical Center promotes health, wellness and overall functioning for adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities (ID), and other neurodevelopmental disorders (OND). 

The Medical Center offers services as part of a comprehensive, integrated care model.  Services at the location include primary care, psychiatry, psychotherapy, and laboratory tests.

Citrus Family Care Network Selected as Child Welfare Lead Agency for the Southern Region

MIAMI, FLORIDA— Citrus Family Care Network is proud to announce that it has been selected as the Child Welfare Community Based Care (CBC) Lead Agency for the Southern Region by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF).

DCF contracts with CBC Lead Agencies across the state to provide child welfare services in their local communities for children who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned.  The Southern Region includes Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.

Citrus Family Care Network is a division of Citrus Health Network, a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center that has been providing services to the child welfare population for more than 27 years. 

Florida Association for Infant Mental Health Names Citrus Administrator VP

Citrus Health Network Early Childhood Development Programs Administrator Jackie Romillo, LCSW, was named Vice President of the Florida Association for Infant Mental Health (FAIMH) Board of Directors.

Citrus Health Network's ACGME accredited Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program has four Fellow positions available for the 2020-2021 Program Year.  

Candidates can start as PGY4 or PGY5 Fellows.

Citrus Health Network provides Foster Care services to specialty populations.  Prospective foster parents are recruited, trained, and licensed by Citrus staff, and given additional training in strategies for dealing with different behaviors.
